Before i went onto illustrate any more sports, i decided to add some colour then when we did move on we new what positions and shapes worked best to photograph the next time. I have used the colours for cloudy lemonade, the current bottle is colored in green which i was slightly confused as to why at first, but then i started using the colour yellow and the fruit lemon and can seen even from the first that the colour looks awful.
Before i decided that the colour scheme completely didn't work i attempted to improve it, i added the inside of a lemon to represent the flavor as earlier development showed the fruit on the illustration other than colour worked really well. Above by using a yellow for the silhouette didn't work it just faded in to the shape as well as just looking completely wrong, but black looks just as bad. The only discovery i have made here is the inside of the fruit textures and difference in colours really makes the illustration come to life it looks tasty, the second decision i have made it this football illustration of the silhouette does not work so im going to have to re look at this.
Although i mentioned the inner fruit was working much better to look at, i just thought i would try the yellow shades with the black to see if this works any better, it doesn't iv posted it anyway to show the difference.
