Fruit and colour on the silhouettes

Before i continue with the labels i thinks its best to decide which 5 shapes i will be using and which fruit drink they will be for. The first 2 are swimming, i really like the first one its for a cranberry drink, the image in contrast to the solid swimming shape looks really good, the red pulling through the cranberries onto the shape really brings it to life. I don't think the orange is working quite as well, it doesn't seem to stand out quite as well as the first, i think perhaps the orange is too pale, but also the swimming silhouette doesn't work as well as the first.

The second sport is tennis with the first orange not a success i have attempted to see if tennis suits this fruit any better, it does stand out much more with the darker orange as the silhouette but looking at that compared to the second tennis illustration, it doesn't work anywhere near as strong. The green really pulls out the silhouette with the deep green and light shades of the lime behind it, this is a much more successful colour, fruit and shape.

Cranberries again for running, im not sure the red is working quite as well here the colour looks quite pastel the brighter red i used above worked much better, so ill have to try this out with the new colour.

The orange is working really much better for the netball, i think its because the netball silhouette is so strong, it takes away the bland background as you cant really tell the coloring behind is coming from an orange fruit.

For some reason i kept thinking blackberries and purple ever since i drew the aerobics illustration and i think its one of the strongest the colours work really nice with the shapes and fruits. I have tested out the silhouette with different shades to see which works best as the background fruits are quite dark. I think i shall have to look at the different colours on the label before i decide this, which will probably be the case for them all.
